Steve Christian
Co-Founder of KapanLagi.com
Steve Christian is an on-line entrepreneur who started his business from online technology. Together with Eka Wiharto, he set up KapanLagi.com in 2003 and made it into The Indonesia’s Biggest Entertainment Site. Steve had been in the on-line business since 1994, starting from PERL-Scripting and built several businesses which were finally taken over by foreign companies. In 2004, one of them, CelebrityWonder.com, a media company which published Esquire and TV ESPN network, was purchased by Hearst Media/UGO New York. This year, he joined with Andi S. Boediman, CEO of Mojopia, to set up IDS International Design School, an integrated communication education company in Jakarta. Steve is also active in 5 other technology companies which are dealing in internet gaming, application service provider, and media. Steve is currently active in various new start-ups which are financed by several VCs, and one of them will be launched in New York City end of this year.
