Gunawan Santoso began to seriously pursue the digital world in 1997, just as the online industry in Indonesia starts to wake up. This engineering graduate who is attracted to IT world continued his study in postgraduate degree programme majoring in E-commerce in Sydney, Australia.
His belief in the potential of digital made him choose to start his career in the Indonesian digital world by joining Kapanlagi.com (2006). In this online portal, he learns a lot on how to develop online portal.
He does not stop here. He is presently developing a company called MediaXasia, which he called Digital Media Publisher Manager which focuses on online community, marketplace dan mobile. MediaXasia manages more than 20 websites such as Kaskus, Krazymarket, Infokost, Daily Social, Bolalob, Lintas Berita, Urbanesia and many more.
In MediaXasia, Gunawan entrusts his spirit, “Small is the new BIG and BIG things come from small thing”.
